We all want God’s power to move in our lives, to open doors and answer prayers... but, His power works best when we aren’t at our best.
I don’t like it when I’m weak. I don’t like to fail, or not be able to push through to finish a task... and I definitely don’t like it when it’s completely out of my control. How about you?
It’s at these times, when God’s strength and power shines. The Bible calls us reflections of God’s glory - so we our lives are how others see Him work on our behalf. If we could do these things without Him, or He just made us look good, there would be no testimony - and we might get puffed up with pride. The world has more than enough of that! The world needs to see us while we need our powerful God to show up in all His strength. When we are weak, He is strong.
