Walking with Christ includes being aware and in tune with the others around you. Jesus is with you, the Holy Spirit is in you. Learning to let the Lord work in and through you is something that isn’t being taught in our churches these days - but it is what Jesus taught His followers. They would, and did, die for Him and His work in and through them.
Where is our passion and desire to serve others like Christ taught? Where is our burning need to be salt and light to the world? Some churches are teaching people how to use the gifts of the Spirit, but it’s as if they are separate from the situation in which they manifest. In the Book of Acts, we see that these gifts were given for situations and service, to show the goodness of God, not the giftedness or anointing on a person. What do you think?
