Our love is imperfect because we are imperfect. We tend to be selfish and easy to offend. Even our overwhelming love for our own babies is weaker than Gods unfailing love for us - but it helps us understand that He has love that’s stronger than our whining, our anger and our misplaced loyalties.

When we mess up, and we always betray God in some way, He forgives us, cleans us up and gives us another chance. More chances than we can count. When He cleans us up, it can take time to heal and refresh - it requires our participation- and we can mess that up too. But God will still love us the same.
