Everything we do, especially the big things, should begin with praise. This verse doesn’t just mean to start church with thanksgiving and praise, anytime and every time we enter into prayer, we are entering the presence, or courts, of our Father God. Being thankful is the key.
Remember Moses praised God before He parted the Red Sea - and things were looking catastrophic, yet Moses praises. Remember that before Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, He was emotional and wept...and praised His Father.
Before we do things, especially if God has called us to them, we need to follow the examples we have and stop, and praise God for His love, His mercy, His grace, His provision, and His faithfulness will be with us forever!
