No matter how bad things get, or seem to be trending, don’t despair- Jesus has overcome the world!
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:1-5
It’s easy for us to be overwhelmed, and our God knows this about us. That’s why He laces Scripture with verses like this and He also tells us that “greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” He knows that the struggle is real and that we need help. Our problem is that we often wait until we need to be rescued before we admit we need any help at all. Our pride tends to get in the way...
