We always have a choice about how we will respond to whatever life hands us. It’s the old “life gives you lemons, make lemonade” adage. Often, that’s much easier said than done though...
Think about this - when something bad happens, or we’re “stressed,” how often are we grumpy or sharp-tongues with someone - that would be like throwing a stone. How often do we whine and complain? How often do we use our problem as an excuse to stumble by overeating, or drinking, or just being lazy and doing nothing? Or, do we overcome it and use it to build our faith and climb a little higher?
