We have all been created on purpose by a loving God who has a purpose for our lives. I believe we have many purposes throughout our lives and that they are all important building blocks in our journey as disciples of Christ. In some seasons this purpose can be raising children, learning, or being a great spouse, in others it’s about learning endurance through intense physical trials - like chronic illness, or overcoming big obstacles by faith. Sometimes we think we can’t take anymore - that’s when God is teaching us to lean on, rely on and trust in Him. He will not drop us.
So often, when we’re faced with a situation, we want God to deliver us - To make it go away.
