Praising God isn’t optional. It’s a gift God gives us so that we have access to Him and all of His power. It really activates God to work in and through us, around us and on behalf of us.
So… how often do you praise Him each day? It doesn’t always need to be out loud or in a song, just praise Him! David, with all his flaws, was a man after God’s own heart, and over and over again He praised God in the Psalms. We should follow his example:
“Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, my soul. I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.” Psalms 146:1-2
