We are set apart from the world by our faith in God, our relationship with Christ and our love for one another. If these things aren’t evident to those who know us, then we have a problem. We are a peculiar people who don’t follow after sin - of course we still sin, but we aren’t pursuing the sin, we’re pursuing God’s purposes and will.
When people are around you, work with you, interact with you and your family, can they tell that you’re a disciple of Christ? Do they know you love people by the way you treat them and talk about others? Or would they notice your political views and opinions more? Does your church try to resemble and fit in to the world or is it a beacon of hope in your community?
