Does your relationship with the Lord fit this description?
Every once in a while, I will catch myself holding on to something or someone else as my place of refuge or to give me hope. This always ends with my bitter disappointment. Sometimes I even blame God, but because I do cling to Him, He reveals to me what the real problem was. I realize my human nature will make this mistake again, but I’m more aware and make it much more infrequently. This isn’t because of me though, it’s because my feet are planted on the rock and He gives me wisdom. The Lord is my strength, my deliverer, my hope, my protector, my salvation and my hiding place. Where do you hide?
