When we are walking with God, we will still make mistakes. Usually we make more of them when we aren’t making as much of an effort to walk with Him or are just going our own way - BUT when you love God, and are called for His purposes, HE will work everything to the good - even our mistakes.
We must fight the urge to sweep them under the carpet when God wants to do something productive, something that will bring Him glory from them. Our God will turn our mourning to dancing, our ashes into beauty and our shame into glory when we trust Him and surrender to Him. He is our Father and we are His children.
