I’m guilty of arguing with God. He doesn’t argue back, though. I’m thankful that He is patient with me and leads me to the path and the answer when I finally listen.
What does it take for you to listen?
Do you have to fail first, or get hurt? Or worse yet, hurt someone else?
King David is a great model of how to overcome this cycle and start listening. David poured out his heart to God - his fears, his pain, hopes and dreams...everything. Then he asked God to deliver him, to renew his hope and his faith, and to give him a clean heart.
