I’ve learned to do this... the hard way. How about you? I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who has a tendency to handle issues and problems by relying on my own knowledge and experience. That’s not a bad thing, especially when God has taught us about this before. However, maybe this is a new issue, or has undercurrents you can’t see and when you jump in you get pulled under. THIS is why we should do what it says in Philippians 4:6, pray about everything. This way we will be equipped for the task, or warned to pull back. Then, we must actually listen. When God tells us to hold back or not get involved it can go against every fiber of our flesh, but He isn’t mean - He is wise and He protects His children... when we let Him.
