Jesus told us that He is the Light of the World AND that this light dwells in us. The Lord has been lighting things up for His children for a very very long time, and now that we even have His light within us, we don’t always shine it for others or look to God to help us. I ask myself “Why do I forget to do this?”
Sometimes I get overwhelmed and I need To give God my burdens.
Sometimes the darkness is enticing and I need to reject it and turn my face towards God.
Sometimes I’m discouraged and I need to build myself up in my most holy faith and worship.
Sometimes I’m disappointed and I need to focus on the promises of God.
