Our Father God was the first to say “Just do it.” What’s cool is that if we get up and do what God has called and empowered us to do, HE IS WITH US! We aren’t alone and we aren’t operating under our own power. The results aren’t limited by our human weakness because of God’s participation.
The problem is that we expect this power from God when we pursue our own selfish desires. We get stuck in our prayers because we are asking for something we want without seeking God for what He wants to do in and through us. We want Him to give us the desires of our hearts when we don’t delight ourselves in Him (Psalm 37:4).
