Is BEing a Christian hard? Many people think it is, but I never have. I’ve always thought that it is much more difficult to cope with the realities of life without The Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to lead, teach, comfort, and sometimes - rescue you.
I’m not saying that resisting temptation and sin is always easy - it’s not!! But I don’t do it from my own strength - that’s the secret to joyful Christian living - you always have a helper, and you’re covered with grace when you mess up - because messing up is part of life and part of being a Christian. We must share that grace with one another much more freely, just as Christ does for us. That’s God’s way.
Loving people anyway, even if they’ve messed up, that’s God’s way. Forgiving people, even if they’re not sorry and you have to do it again and again, that’s God’s way.
