Sometimes this can be a real struggle of faith. We may be longing for an answer to prayer that we’ve been hoping for so long that, we’re giving up. Maybe for a child, or a spouse, or deliverance from pain, or healing from sickness or disability. I can speak to all of those... and it’s really difficult to keep faith and hope alive all the time.
This is where God’s grace comes in. He fills in the gaps and imperfections. His grace recharges us and covers our fear and doubt when we believe, because our faith and hope are flawed by our humanity - but If we are trying and working on it but know we need God, Then He gladly pours out more grace to help us to persevere and not lose hope.
Sometimes it seems like all hope is lost, like when you lose a loved one. But even then, God’s grace is enough to hold you up and keep you together while you grieve.
