Have you heard people say or sing - “God is good all the time. All the time God is good” before?
At first, I had trouble with this. I had to separate the terrible things that happen in our fallen world, that God allows, from a thought that He is controlling it all. I realize that He CAN control everything, but He has given us freedom and allows us to mess up. Our imperfections and our sin are coupled with the work of the devil for the atmosphere in which we currently live; and no matter how bad our situation is, God is still good and He is still in the throne of heaven. We may get angry because He doesn’t rescue us the way that we think He should, but His ways are not our ways and He knows everything that we can learn from each situation. He knows the plans He has for each one of us and they are good!
