I just love forgiveness! First and foremost, God’s forgiveness that set me free and opened the door so I could enter into His presence. His forgiveness gives my life purpose and meaning and without it I am woefully lost.
But I love forgiving others. The more I do it, the easier it is. It brings freedom and joy and builds my faith - why? Because the act of forgiving someone is also the act of trusting God’s justice and faithfulness. They are hand in hand. When we don’t forgive, truly forgive, we are not trusting God. It’s that simple and that difficult.
