When God forgives us, we are completely forgiven - it is finished. It’s difficult for us to really comprehend this kind of forgiveness and this kind of love... in our humanity, we struggle with forgiveness and reconciliation. God has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west. Jesus paid for them and redeemed us - covered us with grace and set us free from that sin.
