This concept of “finding yourself” isn’t a new one. In fact, it’s embedded in some cultures before a person is considered an adult. Many Hollywood movies have been made and even more minds have been confused about this.
We are made in God’s image and likeness with a purpose and a plan. That’s what we need to find. We need to develop our understanding to the point where we can see a child of God staring us back in the mirror, and we know that our Father God is with us. That He has a good plan for our lives and that He created you deliberately and purposefully.
When you find this, you’ve found yourself - your calling and your purpose define you. God has given each one of us unique gifts and talents to fulfill this... and it will fulfill you when you step into it.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
