I saw this quote and stopped.
I had to ask myself, do people see evidence of Christ when they see me. I sure hope so, but I’m honestly not sure. This is a deeper question that I think we should all ask ourselves and then ask God.
Sometimes I’m so busy being “professional” that the answer is no. But there are other times I think the answer is yes. But not when I’m in a hurry - ouch. I know that I tend to be very focused on a task when I’m in a hurry and I am not kind, compassionate, patient, and gentle. Others should see the fruit of the Spirit when they interact with me. But the real evidence is our love for one another. John 13:35 says “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." I know I say this a lot - but it’s too important not to repeat and shout from the IG mountain too. People who call themselves Christians are to love others.
