Discouragement is never hard to find. Sometimes it walks right behind you as though it’s chasing you. Sometimes it’s right beside you, pretending to be a companion, and sometimes it’s a dark cloud that hangs over and around you. Discouragement is real, but it isn’t the TRUTH! The word of God isn’t just real IT IS TRUE.
When these feelings try to rob you of your courage to go on, to pursue what God has shown you, to do the work God has given you - look only to God for encouragement. He is able! He wants to help you and lift up your head. He really cares about what you’re going through and He sees the struggles you are facing. Turn to the Lord who will never let you down.
