We all want to be safe from war, disasters and terrorism, but what about other things? Like criticism, confrontation, financial risk, and persecution?
Being responsible to provide for your family and work hard is a good thing, a blessing, but sometimes God wants us to step out in faith. He may ask you to give more money than you think you can afford or to take a job that you don’t feel as confident in, or to start a business or write a book. Playing it safe doesn’t require faith and without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).
When we respond to God in faith, we are marching in His army. We have free will and we allow Him to use us tactically and strategically to fight against the devil.
