Choosing to follow God and His will for our lives isn’t a bed of roses. It doesn’t mean we will have it easy and get everything we want. God is good Father, He doesn’t spoil His children.
God’s will is so much bigger than each person and the work the do. His Will includes all of humanity and is eternal in its focus. He created each one of us on purpose for a purpose. But we have a choice. We can choose to live out that purpose, or pursue our own. Either way, we will encounter trouble - but it will be worth it if we’re following God’s will.
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33
