Did you know you faced this sometimes? Some of us have to face this kind of decision every day. I’ve noticed that a lot of people don’t take it that seriously, though...and they should. They have an attitude that thinks it doesn’t matter that much.
Choosing life is choosing to be under a covering of God’s blessing. This doesn’t mean everything is perfect and coming up daisies, because in this world, we are guaranteed to have troubles. Choosing death can be as simple as hanging out with the wrong friend or taking the easy way out of a situation. We can justify anything if we try hard enough, but if we find ourselves trying to justify our decisions, we should be very careful. There are consequences of every choice we make, especially the ones that involve other people, and we should walk in the Spirit and weigh our choices the way God does - life and death, blessing and curses.
