This is an astonishing and profound gift that our Father gives us. He wants us to know that He is giving us the rights and privileges of being His child, as well as the love and grace that He pours out on us.
I knew this and even understood this, but I didn’t really “get it” at first. When you I realized what I would do for my kids, how deeply I loved them and how passionately I prayed for them was a glimpse of how God felt about me - that’s when I started to “get it.”
I AM A CHILD OF GOD. My Father is the creator of the universe, of everything I can see and everything I can’t see. He is my savior and redeemer too, and He forgives me when I misbehave and even when I hurt Him. He will always give me another chance and He will always welcome me into His arms or His lap.
