Change Your Mind
Do you tend to let your thoughts rest on things that bring worry, anxiety, or fear? What do you do about it?
You can control your thoughts. It will improve your life dramatically when you do this. The Bible tells us NOT to worry, be afraid or be anxious. The Bible tells us to “destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,”
2 Corinthians 10:5
The best way I’ve found to do this is to simply “change my mind” - when I find myself fretting or afraid, I turn my thoughts to something else. I sing a praise song, or look at a photo, or recite scripture, or call someone (not to vent but to catch up), or busy myself with a task. I choose not to dwell on the thought that isn’t on this wonderful list - it’s a prescription for our health! #justdoit
