I read this and remembered a time when my relationship with God really was a romance… my busyness and problems got in the way of it.
It takes serious intimacy with God to really quiet yourself and say “Speak Lord” while you listen at His feet. And that’s the thing, when you really do this, you really are at His feet - it’s mind boggling that the creator of the universe, the king of kings and Lord of lords will sit with you like this, But He wants to and He will! He wants you to long for Him just as He long for you. His love for you is never-ending and He is waiting…
