Angry?

“Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires.” James‬ ‭1:19-20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

You don’t read anywhere that God rewards or blesses anger. Being angry isn’t wrong or bad, but what you do because of it can be. If we hurt others with our angry words or actions - even if we think they deserve it - we are wrong. The Bible teaches us to be long-suffering, compassionate, to turn the other cheek, to go the extra mile for someone who doesn’t deserve it, to love the unloveable and to forgive everyone. That’s enough to keep me busy for the rest of my life!

I’m angry too, but the bottom line is this, whether you’re angry about wearing a mask or not, the election, the death of a loved one, the loss of a job, or anything else - God is still God and we are not. So, follow God instead of letting anger control you. Either you trust Him, or you don’t.
