We all need a helper, right?!? Can I get an Amen?
We actually already have one who walks with us through everything. I don’t know why we struggle with our relationships with Him, though. He is for us, not against us. He empowers us when we let Him and He fills us with love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness and self control - then why do we resist Him?
Are we afraid that He will also give us sorrow for sin or choices we’ve made? Are we avoiding the Holy Spirit in us because we want to make certain choices, or do certain things that He doesn’t like? He is with us when we do these things and our ignoring Him doesn’t make Him go away... he longs to empower you to resist anything that is pulling you away from God!
