Clay

Have you experienced things that were terrible to go through at the time, but that God used to empower you later on? Sometimes tragic, sometimes annoying, sometimes just plain suffering through pain - these circumstances are used by God to mold us and shape us - like the potter with clay.

“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.” Isaiah‬ ‭64:8‬ ‭

When it’s happening, we cannot understand - we can only trust and believe, seek and listen, hope and pray. When we do this, we stop fighting the process and become more of who God purposes for us to be - and we are able to walk more closely with Him.

I pray always that I will be and do all that My God purposes for me each day - but that means being moldable and vulnerable, willing to change my mind and my plans for His. How does it look for you?
